2020 NFL Draft Team Grades

2020 NFL DRAFT GRADES: So at the conclusion of every draft everyone comes out with their grades. It’s a pretty much a fools’ errand in that you have no idea how good these classes are, or how accurate your grades are, until year 3 of their careers but it’s still fun. To be honest the 2020 NFL draft was ultimately pretty weak in my opinion outside of the best wide receiver class of all time and a deep crop of offensive tackles. That said there were some teams who hit absolute homeruns, and other teams who dropped the ball completely either due to lack of draft capital, Steelers and Texans, or strange decision making, Packers and Falcons. Young is an incredible player and an outstanding athlete who was the best player in the nation this season. As impressive as Nick Boss was as a rookie in 2019, Young was clearly the better player in college and the better pro prospect. Young averaged more than a sack a game over the past two seasons, and his explosive get off, power, and elite technique lead me to projecting him as a double digit sack artist as early as his rookie year.  What makes Young such an elite prospect isn’t just his innate ability to get after the quarterback in whatever way he wants, its that he can create havoc in the run game as well. His speed and ability to close from the back side is in the top tier, and therefore he’s th...
