Houston Texans Combined Quarterback Statistics 2015

Through 10 games this is the "horrible, awful, below average etc" as the so called experts claim our quarterback play to be this season.

Houston Texans passing numbers this season: 2793 yards, 20TD, 8 INT.... for everyone who thinks we need a "franchise quarterback" - That would be 6th in the NFL in yards ahead of MVP Aaron Rodgers, franchise guys Joe Flacco, Ryan Tannehill, Andy Dalton, and Eli Manning.

We have also thrown 20 TD passes, would be good for 6th in the league more than Phillip Rivers, Matt Ryan, and Russell Wilson.

We've thrown a total of 8 INT, (4 of which have been on tipped passes or a hail mary) That's less INTs than MVP candidate Cam Newton, Drew Brees, Andrew Luck, Carson Palmer, Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford, and a host of other guys people would build their franchise around.

Everyone needs to watch the games instead of just regurgitating "expert opinion" on our quarterback play, which for all intents and purposes has by the numbers been about 6th-8th best in the NFL this season.
Food for thought.

2024 NFL DRAFT PROSPECT BIOS

2024 NFL DRAFT PROSPECT BIOS  Extra notes I put in italics. Some of these are from Senior Bowl or Combine notes that may have caused an update, and some are from watching extra tape later on in the Pre-Draft Process and I didn’t want to type everything up again.  Blue are guys I’m higher on by at least one round and usually 2 or 3 rds than consensus. Marvin Harrison Jr, WR Ohio State 99 I’m not trying to be contrarian here by putting Harrison Jr first ahead of Williams and Maye. The thing is my ratings are not positioned based when I do Bios and Harrison is the 2nd best prospect I’ve ever scouted (behind only Andrew Luck) so he has to get this rating. Harrison Jr is going to walk into the NFL and be a top 10 WR immediately. He has perfect size at 6’4 and 215 pounds and yet is a truly elite route runner. He creates separation and can get in and out of breaks like someone 6 inches shorter. His acceleration and ability to leave defenders looking lost is a rare trait. On to...

2020 NFL Player Rankings

NFL PLAYER RATINGS 2020 Every single year Madden comes out with player ratings and it puts everyone up in arms over how their individual guys are rated. You get people upset about their overall rating in the game, speed, cover ability, and everything in between. That said, the game and player’s overall abilities in the game are just simply not accurate enough. I decided that from now on, every year I’m going to build my own player ratings and list them out, giving ratings from 99 down. This isn’t a lifetime achievement award, or how good I think they’ll be in 3 years, this is for this season, without position importance just simply how good of a player each guy is period. End of story. Get ready to yell and disagree, but at least enjoy the reading. 99 - Patrick Mahomes, QB Kansas City This one is pretty damn obvious right? The guy has an MVP and.a Super Bowl and is only heading into year 4. I think he has a chance to be the greatest quarterback who ever played the game a...

2020 NFL Draft Player Profiles

1. Chase Young, DE Ohio State 99 I haven’t given 99s often in my career as an evaluator but this one was easy. This is the 9th draft board I’ve done from beginning to end and only the 3rd 99 grade I’ve ever given out, (Andrew Luck and Saquan Barkley were the other two). Young is an incredible player and an outstanding athlete who was the best player in the nation this season. As impressive as Nick Boss was as a rookie in 2019, Young was clearly the better player in college and the better pro prospect. Young averaged more than a sack a game over the past two seasons, and his explosive get off, power, and elite technique lead me to projecting him as a double digit sack artist as early as his rookie year.  What makes Young such an elite prospect isn’t just his innate ability to get after the quarterback in whatever way he wants, its that he can create havoc in the run game as well. His speed and ability to close from the back side is in the top tier, and therefore he’s th...
