 I've decided I'm going to officially NOT do Mock drafts anymore on what I think will happen except once per year before the draft. From now on I'm ONLY doing mock drafts on what I WOULD DO. Gotta put your money where your mouth is. We're super early in the 2023 season but it seems like a fitting time to start to work on this. Plus, I'm bored at work. All pick slots are courtesy of Tankathon.  1. Chicago Bears - QB Caleb Williams, USC They absolutely can not trade this pick again for obvious reasons. Williams is going to be my 2nd highest rated QB prospect ever and a deserving 99 rated player. He's a franchise changer for a team that hasn't had a good quarterback for decades.  2. Denver Broncos - QB Drake Maye, UNC Russell Wilson is no longer a viable NFL starting QB on a contending team. He's so stiff and robotic in his movements and his leadership leaves much to be desired.  Tomorrow marks the first day of the 2023 NFL Season and as a team builder it's arguably the longest day of the year. I just want the season to get here as it's a long few months without football once the draft is over the first part of May. The 2023 season is going to be a wild ride, as it always is, but there are some things from the past offseason that definitely merit watching. I am going to go back and name a few things I liked from this offseason and a few things that I didn't like. All of this is from strictly a team building standpoint in terms of how these teams utilized their capital - whether that be draft capital or salary cap space. In a couple of seasons, we'll go back and see if I was right or wrong! First notice here: The 2024 Draft is going to be an ALL TIME draft.
