underrated and overlooked 2014 draft

Guys I love in the 2014 draft These are guys that I would love to have on my team if I were an NFL GM. This isn’t saying these are the best players in the draft, or that they are first rounders, etc. These guys are simply great football players who probably aren’t valued as high by evaluators as they are valued by myself. 1. Lamarcus Joyner, DB Florida State Joyner is one of the most fun players I’ve ever evaluated. The kid plays extremely hard, and while he’s undersized he makes huge plays during big moments. He could have a Tyrann Mathieu type impact while showing high character and football IQ. 2. Teddy Bridgewater, QB Louisville Bridgewater looked like a monster in college and now that his pro-day was bad he drops potentially to the second round? I simply couldn’t care less how he throws the football against air, what I care about his how he dissects defenses. A stud, who if you run a west coast offense, could end up being an All-Pro. 3. Dri Archer, ATH Ken

players falling off my board

Based on a couple of different things that have came up this week I would take a couple of guys completely off my board... Zach Mettenberger... you can't stop smoking pot for long enough to take a drug test you knew about? You're off my draft board. With all the previous off the field issues you've had and then this, plus the ACL stuff, and the fact that you were a 3rd-4th round grade on my board anyway. Now you're off. Bradley Roby... same deal. A DUI ten days before the draft? If you can't keep your nose clean with this much riding on it, you don't have the intellect I want on my football team. That coupled with inconsistent play your senior year means you're off my board as well... Seantrell Henderson, you were already off my board because of off the field issues, now you failed a drug test... i would bet 20 teams now won't touch you.

2014 final mock draft

2014 Mock Draft 1. Houston Texans: Jadeveon Clowney,   DE South Carolina This is simply a team taking the best player available. Clowney is a monster who if you paired him with Watt would create the scariest pass rushing duo in the NFL. 2. St. Louis Rams: Greg Robinson, OT Auburn The idea here is that you get a coach who loves smash mouth football a smash mouth player. They play in a division that loves to run and pound away at you and Robinson would fit right in. 3. Jacksonville Jaguars – Khalil Mack, OLB Buffalo This is a tougher pick because Watkins is available but Mack is a special player. He gives Gus Bradley the type of versatile defensive weapon that he’s been looking for. 4. Cleveland Browns –Johnny Manziel, QB Texas A&M Kyle Shanahan would love to get his hands on Manziel. His play action and boot system would fit Johnny Football perfectly and allow him to use his unique skill set. 5. Oakland Raiders – Sammy Watkins, WR Clemson Watkins is the best

Most overrated in 2014 NFL draft with 100 hours to go

Every scout has their own ideas when going into a draft process. In reading everything I have about what other scouts say, I simply disagree with numerous things that they have said throughout the process. These are ten guys I believe are highly overrated going into the 2014 Draft. I'm not saying these guys are bad players, or won't pan out in the league. I'm simply saying they are going to get drafted higher than they should or that scouts believe they should go. 1. Morgan Moses - OT Virginia Scouts inc Rank 14 My rank: 64 Moses is a solid right tackle prospect in the NFL but if someone drafts him in the middle of the first round it's a huge reach. His upside is good not great but his ability to handle speed rushers isn't good and probably won't get better. While a solid starter is my projection, that doesn't mean you take him at 14 or higher. 2. Darqueze Dennard - CB Michigan State Scouts inc Rank: 13 Mel Kipers Rank: 15 My rank: 38 Again it&
